Cora is a Corporal in the army, sent by her superiors to smoke Aaron out of his hiding place in an abandoned old ranch house. Unfortunately for her, she wasn't made aware of that little detail - so Aaron's sudden appearance was a shock to her and her companions. 

He fled the old house, hotwiring their Humvee and booking it before they even had a chance to fully process the situation.
